Computers needed

Our Computer Donation Ministry is in desperate need of used computers.  We take your used computers, wipe the information from them, refurbish them and then give laptops (preferred) & PC’s to those who are in need of them (the Bhutanese and others).

It is very important that you use these guidelines before bringing your computer gift in to the church.

We would like Laptop/PC's in good working condition.  We would like a complete PC including a monitor, if possible, that is capable of running, or is already running, at least Microsoft Windows XP.

It is very important to have a legal copy of at least Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition that hopefully came with the computer otherwise any license that you may have purchased like upgrading to XP Home or Professional etc.. it is extremely important for us to keep everything legal.

We would especially appreciate laptops or PCs with the following minimum hardware requirements if at all possible:

• Pentium 1-gegahertz (GHz) processor or faster
• At least 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM
• At least 40 gigabytes (GB) hard drive
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
• Keyboard and a Mouse
• Sound card
• Speakers or headphones are appreciated as well.
